We tried this place as it had some pretty good reviews but were quite disappointed. The place has a nice vibe and friendly atmosphere which is nice if you want to hang around with friends for a drink though. You order throught an iPad thing on the table. We ordered the pajeon green onion pancake, jajang myeon black bean noodles, and Korean fried chicken with two flavours. The green onion pancake was rather oily and not crispy enough while the jajang myeon noodles were rather lacking in flavour and ingredients. The Korean fried chicken was alright but nothing to shout about. I guess it is more suitable for those looking for food to accompany drinks with your mate, not so much for foodies looking to have a hearty good meal.
Great food and super friendly staff! We stopped by after work and ordered the kimchi fried rice and bulgogi โ both were really tasty and satisfying. If youโre looking to try some Asian food in the city, this place is a great option. Clean, welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely come back again!
I usually prefer cooking Korean food at home, but Korean-style Chinese? Definitely better to eat out ๐ I went back after a while and it was *so* much better than before!! I didnโt even know they changed owners, but the food tastes amazing now, they added tablet ordering so itโs super easy, and the staff were really friendly. Big thumbs up from me. They also added soju cocktails and they were actually really good! If youโve been craving proper Korean-style Chinese food like me, I totally recommend this place ๐
If you are thinking of ordering food online or takeaway then please dont. $70 down the drain. Food looked and tasted disgusting. Do not get fooled by the pictures on review. If you go to dine in, it might be different case but do not order takeaway. Ordered spicy pork, jeyuk, the dish was so unappealing, drowned in pool of oil, looked just dark red nothing else, like slices of pork was just mixed with gochujang, no veggie, no garnish, tasted like eating gochujang out of the tub. The kimchi and side dish that was supposed to come with it was missing. And it came with soup that tasted so horrible had to throw it. Soup looked and tasted like mix of soy sauce and oil. $29 for this? And the quantity was so less. Also, ordered kimchi fried rice. No taste of kimchi was to be found. No veggies. No garnish. Just overcooked rice with egg on the top. Egg was so overcooked, its texture was like plastic. Dinner was ruined. How can you mess up so basic so simple dish?? Its funny. And lets not forget the high price. $25 for that horrible fried rice? Please do better!!
Had dinner twice. Both on weekend, but both wassuper quick service, from entree to the main we received everything probably within 15min or maybe it was even quicker. The spice level is great for chilli lovers. Satisfying volume with reasonable pricing. We will definitely go back.
