Ordered the whole fish with tamarind sauce, was incredibly moist and the sauce was a perfect balance of spicy, sweet and tangy! The service was quick and they even gave us extra tamarind sauce, order the coconut rice with the fish and youโll have the best meal ever!
My wife is a regular customer and has ordered Crispy pork kana 3 times and all 3 times take out they have forgotten the egg which is part of the recipe. This is not acceptable as it has happened so many times. Shes paid for the meal and expects to have all ingredients that shes ordered Please do better
After flying into Cairns from Brisbane, I was starving and stumbled across this little Thai spot near my accommodation. It was around 1pm and I thought they might be closing, but Iโm so glad I went in. The staff were lovely and helped me choose the pork mince salad with glass noodles, even checking if I wanted it mild (much appreciated!). The food came out quickly and was fresh, flavourful and delicious. A steady stream of locals coming in made it clear this is a popular spot. Doesnโt look like much from the outside, but Iโll definitely be back while Iโm in town.
Not bad, wish they gave you more meat as these were mostly just veggies. The basil stir fry tastes authentic but lacks smokiness. Panang curry is quite nice. However you won't be getting any service from the staff besides them taking your order and bringing out the food. No one will be in the front when you walk in so you'd be standing there confused for a good minute ๐
I was initially drawn to this store due to the favorable reviews on Google. However, to be frank, the price tag doesn't align with the quantity and quality of the food. The waiting period was rather long. Even the mango sticky rice, which was only brought after our repeated requests, had undercooked glutinous rice with hard grains, although the mango itself was fresh and sweet. The beverages were nothing remarkable either. All in all, the experience was mediocre.
