Definitely an underrated Thai restaurant in Hobart! It made us thought that the Thai food here in Tasmania is unbeatable and tried another high rating one the other night. It was good too. But both me and my husband agree that Suwan Thai is underrated! Recommended!
Perfect experience! Tasty food! Excellent service! The waiters are so nice! Especially Tan! Super handsome and kind!
A very good Thai restaurant, from the food, service and atmosphere is 10 out of 10. We are tourist and we have received an excellent service from the restaurant, we just randomly found this on the map and suddenly turned to a surprising finding. Highly recommend for any tourist!
Month of visit: December 2024 I visited this restaurant based on its high rating on Google Maps, but I would rate it 4 stars for the following reasons: * The first time we came, it was before 3 PM, but the restaurant was already closed, which was disappointing since we were hungry and excited to try it. * On our second visit, I made a reservation over the phone, and the booking process and service were smooth and pleasant. * Having tried many Thai restaurants in Brisbane, I feel that the ones there are still superior in terms of flavor and overall experience. * The restaurantโs ambiance felt a bit outdated and quiet, which didnโt quite match the expectations set by its high ratings. * The Pad See Ew had overly large chunks of broccoli, which wasnโt to my liking. * On the bright side, their laksa was delicious and stood out as a highlight of the meal. * Overall, the pricing felt a bit on the higher side for the experience offered. While it didnโt completely meet my expectations, itโs still a decent spot to try if youโre in the area!
Great food, great location and lovely staff. Donโt be fooled by the location of this restaurant situated on the first floor of an old building in the middle of Salamanca Place. Even if the restaurantโs presentation doesnโt look very appealing the food at this place is very appetising. The food serving is a little too small (price ratio wise).
