Great suburban restaurant. Tempura fish was really good. Penang curry had great fresh flavours, probably best with beef or seafood. Satays great but could do with more sauce, and a little hotter/less sweet flavour. Great meal overall!

Wowowowowow. Love this local Thai place. Wasn’t expecting much in the first visit, just wanted a quick sit down dinner, but turned out amazing. I’ve been here countless times since and gotten takeaway/delivery just as many times. Staff are so friendly, always smiling and open to conversation it truly feels like a community. Space is spacious and clean, not much decoration but who cares when the food is just that good 🤪. All the chef special, curries and appetisers are to die for, and I assume everything else is as well (I don’t adventure much). However I seriously recommend the crispy chicken, Kanha pork belly, red curry and curry puffs as those seem to be the ones I get most often. It can get pretty busy during peak hours meaning wait times can be 25 mins plus, but given its a local business and there doesn’t seem to be much staff, I don’t mind waiting for a delicious meal. I think I might need to move to another city or else I’ll blow all my savings here. If you close down I think I’ll have to go down with you. Favourite restaurant in South side.

Tuesday 24th October 2023 The Service! was again unbelievable! 10 🌟 The chiefs 10 🌟 I haven't had a meal like this in a long time 🤤 We had ordered for Entrees, Chicken wings with Honey Glaze sauce, simply magnificent... Mains, Beef salad and Calamari Rocksalt, Fried Rice without prawns I had tried it all by itself, amazing food, although I had taken this mouth-watering meal to another level! I had mixed the juice from the Beef salad with the fried rice (CRAZY) 🤤🤤🤤 And the sauce from the chicken wings I poured it onto the Calamari rocksalt (WOW)🤤🤤🤤 This meal from Suburban Thai I will not forget for a long time, no I tell you all it was bloody amazing!!! Now, that is how food is meant to taste, like when you are treating yourself!!! Suburban Thai, you keep cooking like that. China Tea House will lose me forever! Whoever reads this post, if you haven't eaten here, you don't know what you are missing out on... Suburban Thai restaurant hold your head high because that was 1 outstanding meal!!!

Had an amazing dinner here with my fiance. The food was amazing and the service excellent and the restaurant had a real nice atmosphere. We had the Mussuman Curry which was incredible with big chunks of slow cooked beef that melted in the mouth and a truly delicious Pad Cha Pork Belly . Both were amazing, we will definitely be coming back for more!

Best Thai food I've had in a long time. Their soft shell crab is absolutely awesome. Every dish was just as good. The restaurant is very clean and staff are extremely friendly.
