Most of the food was gluten free except for 1 dish, but was very nice and filling

I’m a regular customer here, always order the same menu and loving it. But today, i ordered a chilli basil noodle and i’m sorry :( but it tastes like nothing. Normally it always tastes so good, but i’m just so disappointed with this.

Good place to hangout with friends. Good portion of food for each dish. Maybe can bit improve the Thai taste. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would rate 8/10.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Sticky Rice Thai Wickham in Newcastle. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. I started with the Tom Yum with prawns, and it was outstanding—bold, aromatic, and packed with generous, plump prawns. Easily one of the best I’ve had. For the main, I went with the Crying Tiger, and it was nothing short of delicious. The portion was generous, the beef perfectly cooked, and the flavors balanced beautifully. To top it off, I ordered a tonic water with fresh lime, and it arrived presented like a crafted cocktail—an unexpected and impressive touch. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made for a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend Sticky Rice for anyone looking for top-quality Thai food in Newcastle.
