Great food, the curries were fantastic. The hokkien noodles were alright, had a strange burnt taste I hadn't tasted when eating them here before. The staff were over-friendly (which is not a bad thing of course, but when you get interrupted every 10 minutes or so to have your water refilled it can be slightly irritating). The soft shell crabs were unfortunately not cleaned properly before being dished, with all of the tomalley still in tact.

A great Thai restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. Probably my partner and I’d favourite Thai restaurant in Chinatown. Stay are always super friendly and even ask to serve the food for you which a lot of places don’t. Will continuously check in with you for refills or extra as well. Great atmosphere all round with well presented restaurant and outdoor area. Food is always good, if you’re looking to save money though and eat out…. Come here at lunch for some lunch specials as they are cheaper than the regular menu during night service. I regularly come here during lunch due to my work location but will come here for dinner time to time as well. Thanks everyone!

Haven't had a hearty meal in so long. What a gem! The warmest welcome and the friendliest staff. Everything we had for dinner was absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, beautiful flavours and satisfying. The Prawn Choo Chee curry was definitely the highlight, plump, delicious prawns in a creamy sauce with just the right amount of heat. The Kway Teow and the beef stir fry were also delicious. Pandan Chicken was fragrant and succulent. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I had such a wonderful experience at Star of Siam .The food was absolutely delicious – full of authentic Thai flavours, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and made with care. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, a perfect spot whether for a casual meal or a special night out. Highly recommend trying the Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, and the Sea Star . It’s definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in Adelaide! Can’t wait to come back again.

Had dinner at Star of Siam over the weekend and it was AMAZING. Every bite was bursting with flavour, beautifully balanced and full of life. On top of that, the service was amazing—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
