Came here after a friend said you need “two stomachs” — not wrong. It’s right opposite Chatswood Chase. Thought two malatang places next to each other would be similar, but this one is actually quite different. Besides malatang mix, they also have fried skewers, mao cai, rice noodles and desserts, so there’s a lot to choose from. The self-serve area is flat-style instead of fridges, feels like walking through a small market. Ingredients look fresh and well organised, with plenty of options. Went during lunch time, quite busy but the line moves fast. The fried skewer section at the end is dangerous — hard not to grab a few. Would come back again.

If you love Chinese Northeast-style spicy mix (Malaban) and thick, hearty Malatang, this place is absolutely the best choice! The ingredients are super fresh with a huge variety—you can pick whatever you like. The sesame sauce is incredibly fragrant, perfectly blended with chili powder and sesame seeds. So flavourful! They also have fried skewers, which go amazingly well with the spicy mix. So satisfying. Finally got authentic “Dongbei” dishes!
