Fabulous night out at Soi 38! Great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service. We booked for my birthday and the staff even surprised me with a complimentary fruity cocktail, which was such a lovely touch. The menu is full of delicious options. We went A La Carte and started with the tuna sashimi and lamb skewers. The tuna was unbelievably fresh and vibrant! For mains we couldnโ€™t go past the whole barramundi (spotted it on the table next to us and it looked too good to ignore!) and it absolutely did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the massaman curry, rice, and the eggplant with snap beans and tofu โ€” all so, so yummy. The staff were attentive all night, topping up our water and wine without being intrusive. Itโ€™s so refreshing to have such a great dining experience when so many places these days are lacking in both food and service.

Obsessed with this restaurant. The vibe / ambience was calm, organised, tidy and all around a great atmosphere to be in. The service was phenomenal, staff go out of their way to look after you and are all extremely helpful! Our waitress Nina, was thorough and very knowledgeable about the menu and provided us with her recommendations as well as drinks that would pair well with the dishes. Everything on the menu looked mouth watering however we went with two appetisers, the stuffed chicken wings and chive pancakes. Both of which were excellent, the chicken wasnโ€™t dry and the salt levels were well balanced. Same goes for the chive pancake, the sauce has a bit more of an intense flavour which I thoroughly enjoyed, however others may find overpowering. Our main course was the crispy pork belly, not one thing I could fault about this dish. Everything about it was phenomenal, the flavours were perfectly well balanced and I found myself wanting more! Our waitress (Nina,) had informed our table that this was a new menu, props to the chefs as the dishes that we had were extraordinary! I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

We came in for an early sitting before the ballet. Half of the party were late, and the staff were beyond accomodating with ordering food and drinks round this. Lovely service and delicious food. Will be back!

We visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered five different dishes to try. Each one left a really good impression. The Pad See Ew was outstandingโ€”you could taste that perfect wok-charred flavor that makes the dish so special. The Pad Thai was equally amazing, full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The duck was beautifully tender, cooked just right, while the chicken was flavorful and truly delicious. Overall, every dish we tried was excellent, and the quality really stood out. Definitely a place worth coming back to! Great food, great customer service and very nice restaurant.

Golden Boy is SO much better. Give this place a miss if you are looking for a nice evening. This is the 3rd time we have been to Soi 38 and it's been consistently disappointing over several years. The food is not unpleasant. The service is not unpleasant. It's just not great. We had the Feed Me and it was just not value for money. Yes, there was a lot of food but they were just filling us up with carbs - sticky rice, rice, roti. The menu says "Snacks", but all we got were 1 sad chive cake per person (see picture). Service is prompt but with snappy remarks like "there's so much butter in roti it can't be vegan", it's just not great. I've been going to Golden Boy for 10 years now and it's great value for money, staff are actually super friendly, with personality. Soi38, please do better.
