We ordered a lot of different things to share between the four of us, had to even take away some food home because there was just that much! The spicy apple salad was interesting, service was great and the environment was dim and clean, can't ever go wrong with pad thais and curries for Thai food. Thanks for the food Smile Thai! I had a smile on my face the entire time I was there. I have been to the other venue in West Melbourne a few times and love the food there ofcourse but it was my first time at this location. I was pleasantly surprised to say that everything was even better than their other location. The staff were lovely and catered to our requests even though the kitchen was about to close. The food and the service really lifted my spirits and I was very happy with my decision to dine here. The spinach curry is def my favourite dish here. It's so comforting and refreshing at the same time. A friend tried Thai food for the first time and really enjoyed it too! Many thanks to the lovely team. Will be back super soon✨

I recently visited Smile Thai in Richmond, and my first impressions were excellent. Ambience: The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with subtle yellow lighting that’s softly dimmed, creating a warm and inviting vibe. The tables are neatly arranged, with plates and cutlery set perfectly, which really added to the overall experience. Timing: I popped in just before the lunchtime rush, around 11:50 AM, and it was the perfect time to enjoy the space without it being too busy. Food: I ordered a classic Pad Thai, and I was extremely happy with both the portion size and the flavors. The balance of taste was spot on—simple, authentic, and very satisfying. Parking was easy, with plenty of nearby 2P free street parking, which made the visit stress-free. Overall, Smile Thai offers a great combination of ambience, quality food, and convenience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Richmond!
