We had a wonderful dinner at Satang with a family of five. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service good. Deep-Fried Barramundi: This was truly divine. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly tender on the inside.Panang Curry: The sauce was excellentโrich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavor. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious
We came here for the first time tonight to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. Everything was so nice. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great. And food was delicious. Lots and lots of variety on the menu. Such a memorable night! We will definitely come back!!
Itโs simply the best Thai food in Adelaide. Thatโs it. The history behind the restaurant and the love of food the owner has truly warmed my heart. The place was PACKED full for lunch time and the room was filled with an incredible aroma of delicious food. And I love that they have a complete range of cheap eats as well as opulent meals, it caters perfectly to everyone. I really recommend the peanut butter chicken, I simply could not get enough of it. Overall, if I lived in the city, this would be my regular spot.
A nice Thai restaurant with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. The food though small in portion for their price point, each dish packed flavour and was well seasoned. Our unexpected favourite was the fried chicken in panang sauce. Though the chicken was slathered in the sauce, it still had a crunchy outer. The sauce was amazing and they were not shy in loading the sauce. It wasnโt at all spicy for us but may linger for those who donโt tolerate spice well. The noodles had a good wok hay taste and the noodles were bouncy. The barramundi was good though a bit on the drier side. Apple salad paired with it was refreshing and the sauce was much needed with the fish. As for dessert, it was plentiful compared to the mains. The icecream was sweet and the sticky rice although not as expected it was alright, probably wouldnโt get it again as it wasnโt to our palate. Overall a great restaurant in the heart of Adelaide!
This new Thai restaurant recently opened in the CBD, and it's certainly one of the best Iโve been to. Iโve tried their food a few times, and it has never disappointed. They offer a unique menu with a wide range of dishes that I havenโt seen at other Thai restaurants. My personal favourites are the Pad Thai and the spicy fried rice โ both had authentic flavours. They also adjust the spice level based on your preference; I always go for hot. However, be cautious if you canโt handle too much heat, as their chillies are very spicy. The service is excellent, fast and very attentive. The restaurant originated in Sydney, and from what Iโve observed, their approach is distinct, using impressive strategies to capture the market. The only improvement I would suggest is adding some cocktails to the drinks menu and including more dessert options. Prices are mid-range, and the portion sizes are very generous. They also offer $12.90 lunch specials, which are great value for money with plenty of variety to choose from. Overall, itโs a fantastic Thai restaurant and highly recommended.
