Lovely dessert stop in Melbourne! Tried the Foithong Taro Cake at Roselyn and it was amazing. The cake was soft and light with a delicate taro flavor, not too sweet. The cream was smooth, and the foithong on top was rich and fragrant — the perfect finishing touch. Beautifully presented and truly delicious. A must-try if you’re visiting Melbourne and love desserts! 🍰✨

At Roslyn Thai Cafe in Melbourne, I found my new weekend ritual — homey Thai breakfast and lunch dishes that taste like they were cooked with pure love, and freshly baked Thai + Asian desserts that feel like a warm hug. The space is cozy, the vibes are wholesome, the staff are incredibly friendly, and yes… they’re dog-friendly, so bring your furry foodie with you (PSA: it gets packed on weekends, and for good reason!) My must-tries: 🍚 Khao Dtom Haeng Ba Teng — dried porridge topped with prawn & minced pork, caramelised pork belly, onsen egg… and that chilli oil + soup combo? Soul warming. 🥩 Gao Lao Nuea Toon — rich beef stew with rice and a silky onsen egg. Pure comfort. 🍓 Strawberry Matcha & Thai Milk Tea Queen — refreshing, pretty, and perfect for Melbourne weather mood swings. 🍰 Strawberry Crepe Cake — light, soft, melt-in-mouth. A must. If you’re hunting for a cozy spot with real flavours, welcoming staff, adorable dogs around, and desserts that could fix your whole week… this is the one.

Roslyn Cafe is one of my favourite cafes in the area. Loveliest staffs, comfy and charming ambiance (love the fresh flower detail every time), and of course amazing food and drinks! 😍 Our favourite is the crispy chicken with green curry, low-key hoping they bring back the red beef curry ✨

Service was friendly and welcoming too. One of the best café experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again💗🫶🏻

Roslyn Thai is my favourite Thai café for both breakfast and lunch. My go-to dish is the congee with either chicken or pork balls — it’s comforting and full of flavour. I also love their kaya toast; you can really tell the Thai chef uses real pandan leaves in both cooking and baking. Their house-made Thai milk tea is always excellent — rich, fragrant, and not too sweet. The cakes are equally impressive, perfectly balanced in sweetness and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the pandan taro, mandarin, or Thai milk tea cakes. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and they update their menu seasonally. Don’t miss the mango sticky rice this summer — it’s a must-try!
