Simply amazing. The negative reviews would be either from competitors or bitter people. We attended tonight after 7:30pm without a reservation for an impromptu date night. We were kindly fitted in despite the restaurant being Jay packed. And for good reason. The service was friendly and the food spectacular. Reasonably priced as well. We can’t wait to go back with friends and family. Highly recommended. Thank you Regent Thai.

Me and my family used to enjoy the food here a lot but lately it’s been hit or miss. The quality of the dishes and the service has become inconsistent. Previous visit was full of tasty dishes, fresh ingredients and the Malaysian guy looked after us (Jackson?) Was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. One of reasons that we came back However this visit was so disappointing. The flavors weren’t as rich - either too sour or salty. Exact same dishes but pad thai was soggy, curry felt muted, rushed or watered down. The manager/staff in charged? Couldn’t bother to care about customers review. She was like “we still have customers coming now”. Hope it was me overthinking. I meant my review would not affect their restaurant but I really hope things return to the standard this place was known for.

Regent is modern Thai with class! This restaurant was nearly full on a Monday evening for good reason: quality food in a relaxing atmosphere topped off with outstanding service. The food flavours were authentic. Prices matched the generous serving sizes. Air-conditioned dining space is sophisticated with subtle tweeks of Thai culture. The owner is affable... so lovely to watch her warmly greet known patrons. Table service prompt without being invasive. BYO available. Highly recommend visiting here if in North Adelaide!

A decent Thai restaurant, we ordered pork vermicelli spring rolls, Pad Thai, Larb chicken, and chicken yellow curry. Pad Thai was very good, had both prawns and chicken as opposed to one or the other, works well. Spring rolls were cooked well but we both felt it could've had more minced pork as we couldn't taste it. Larb chicken was tasty, dressing was great and the chicken mince tasty, we felt the ratio of herbs to salad was a bit too weighted towards the herbs. Chicken yellow curry tasted great, it looked small but it was very filling (heaps of chicken). For us we would've preferred pieces of cut up chicken as opposed to very large chicken pieces (although they were very tender and came apart easily) Service was great and the atmosphere was nice and modern. Serving sizes are very good for Thai, we had too much food for my wife and I.
