Great Authentic Thai food, Best so far in Australia after 4 weeks and visiting all the capital cities. Tell them how spicy you want it and you'll get it. Phetyai means "Big Spicy". Lots of local Thai people eating here. Highly recommend and will return.

Always had delicious meals, never disappoints. The portion is big enough, can be shared by 2 people. My favorites and my go-to meals are rad nah, crispy fried chicken, pad thai, pad see ew, crispy yam salad, pad kra pao crispy pork belly and suki soup. Another good thing is that they open everyday from 11am to 8pm. Hoping for another chance to come here

Tom Yum Fried Rice, Crispy Chicken & Rice. We might have chose the best menu items, both were fantastic. Tom Yum Rice was delicious. The crispy fried chicken was awesome. Both were satisfying sizes and at an appropriate price point. Will definitely return on our next visit to Cairns. Very positive experience.

I ate here and enjoyed the rad na. Not many Thai restaurants in Cairns have rad na on their menu so I'm always happy to have it when it's available. It was good -- maybe not the best I've had in Cairns but it was worth eating. The restaurant has a nice, simple inside eating area with tables & chairs; they also have some outdoor tables & chairs. The service (cooking) wasn't extremely fast but they provided good food & the person delivering to the table confirmed each dish as it was presented. My photos might lack colour but that's because I don't like vegetables so there's no green. My fault, not the restaurant's -- they were doing as I asked.

Their pad thai is really good! Very generous with prawns and big portion as well. Great flavour too. Tom yum soup is good too but maybe presentation could be better. This place has great taste and very flavourful. I feel that this place would attract a lot more customers with a bit of change and better vibe in the restaurant like maybe changing the wide wooden tables, and cutlery holder, and generally just a simpler and sleeker interior in the restaurant - it would make it a five star! The tables were too wide and big for a group of 2, and we didn’t get shared plates so it was a bit hard to eat but overall very satisfied with the taste which is most important :)
