Those noodles were potent with flavour, pretty salty but thatโs the vibe and flavour youโre paying for. Skewers were good and tender, the fried noodles portion was massive. Carb loading. Dessert was a mixture of you tiao, condensed milk and Milo? Canโt remember, but it was simple and yummy.
This place may look unassuming from the outside, but the food is absolutely delicious. Must try the salted egg fried squid is flavourful and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish. All the staff are Thai and incredibly warm and friendly, which makes the dining experience even better. A hidden gem thatโs definitely worth coming back to!
Really enjoyed the Salted Egg Stir-Fried Squid and Spicy Yi Mein Pork Tom Yum Noodles. Strong flavours, well-balanced spice and very satisfying portions. Food came out quickly and the quality was great for the price. Will definitely be back!
Dined in as a small group of 3 around 1:30pm on Saturday for lunch Khao Kang Maruay Thai had customers but was not overly busy. The book menu just went on and on and on... After much discussion, our group decided to share 3 dishes: Chicken Pad Thai Pad Khi Mao Mama Som Tum Thai (papaya salad) Everything was seasoned to perfection. It was just the right amount of food.
One of the best Thai meals Iโve had in Sydney. The Tom Yum Fried Rice served in a young coconut is outstanding โ fragrant, generous and full of flavour. The fresh baby squid and spicy pork bone soup were also excellent. Friendly staff, big menu, great value, and a cosy spot right in Haymarket. Highly recommended.
