After a long time, we finally found a restaurant that truly deserves 5 stars in every area. The service was incredibly fast, with no waiting at all between entrées and mains. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Very unique and stand out Indian restaurant experience. The food overall was ok... Nothing special. It was all about the ambience though. Good service, knowledgeable staff and clean and tidy eatery. The Indian fried chicken was very tasty. The tandoori roti and laccha paratha was ordinary. The goat curry tasted ok....the piece though very tiny and not the best cuts goat. Too many bones and randomly cooked meat. Needs improvement....salt was slightly on the higher side on everything. The cinema experience is a good touch to the experience.

This place has been redefining what Indian food can be long before it was trendy. It’s bold, colourful, cheeky, and absolutely unforgettable. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you — vibrant Bollywood artwork, lively music, and that unmistakable aroma of spices that says you’re about to have something special. The menu is a mix of creative, un-authentic Indian dishes that somehow feel both comfortingly familiar and wildly exciting. Signature dishes like the Butternut Pumpkin Curry, Colonel TSO’s Cauliflower, and Horn Please Dal are modern classics — beautifully balanced, packed with flavour, and made to share. The drinks are just as impressive — from fun Indian-inspired cocktails to local craft beers, there’s something for everyone. The service is warm, personal, and full of personality; you can feel the pride in every plate that comes out. After 17 years, Horn Please still manages to deliver that same wow factor it had on day one. A perfect blend of heart, heritage, and hospitality — Horn Please isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a Melbourne institution.
We went there for Sunday family dinner. Trust me this is the most quirky, colourful and vibrants I have ever checked in. With the good food you can click 100s of colouful photos. I tried boozy balls which is phenomenal. Entre'e we ordered cauliflower fry which was sooo flavourful. Main course I ordered thali which was perfectly balanced with veggies and non veg items and quantity was huge. Each item was absolutely lip smacking. My lil one enjoyed her butter chicken and naan.
The food was great..no doubt! It’s more on the milder side, which is fine since I enjoy that too. The drinks were good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Sardar Ji who served us was such a warm and charming personality. The only downside was that the portions were a bit too small, so I’m taking off one star for that. Still, I’d definitely come back again!
