This was my second visit, and it will be my last. We ordered a pasta dish in which the mushrooms tasted unexpectedly sour. After just one bite I felt unwell, which raised concerns about the freshness and handling of the ingredients. The dessert was also disappointing. The menu listed a “pastry roll,” but what arrived was simply a spring roll wrapper with banana — not the product described. The fried item was served cold, as though it had been sitting for some time. On the plate were frozen strawberries and blueberries, placed on the side rather than used fresh. This significantly affected both taste and presentation. When I shared my experience with the staff, the response was a small discount on the dessert — roughly one dollar — which did little to acknowledge the issues encountered. The next morning, I woke up with diarrhea and nausea, which only deepened my concern about food safety. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I will not return.

A pretty antique panio on site. Well air-conditioned. Offer (electric) candlelit meal. Can make reservations. Good vibes. --- 7.6/10 Service: Limited manpower. Friendly staff. Sit anywhere. Menu and a bottle of chilled tap water was given. Ordered and paid at the front desk. Acceptable waiting time for food. --- 7.4/10 F&B: Simple food menu. Special of the day menu with Led light shown at the front desk. Good food presentation. Normal portion. Prices are on the high side but acceptable. Tried lunch special only: - Green Curry Chicken with Rice. $23.9: A tender drum stick with assorted vegetables. Mild spicy and sweet curry sauce. Rice was well-cooked --- 7.2/10 - Pad Thai with Seafood, $21.9: There were 2 prawns (medium size), 2 small mussels. 2 big squid, crunchy bean sprouts, egg, a lemon wedge, and crushed peanuts. Pretty wet- small pool of sauce on the bottom. The sauce was too salty for my liking. --- 6/10

Really cozy vibe and the food is exceptional! I ordered the chilli beef basil and asked them to make it spicy. They didn't failed me cause it satisfied my palate. Pricing is good as well ☺️

Chuankin serves some of the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand! The dishes are packed with flavor, perfectly balanced between spicy, sour, salty, and sweet. The Green Curry and 5 spice duck were standouts. Great service, cozy vibe, and generous portions. Highly recommended for Thai food lovers.

Excellent atmosphere and delicious food! This was my first visit, and I tried the Pad See Ew lunch special — it was absolutely lovely. The only feedback I have is that a slightly larger portion would be ideal, but overall it was a great experience. Will definitely be coming back! Second time dining here. Regarding the portions, I understand the lunch specials are meant to be more affordable, but the serving size felt quite small. To be honest, there wasn’t much difference in price compared to the regular menu. That said, the food still tasted great!
