The best Thai I have ever had! Everything was bursting with flavours, the ambience and service were top notch!
Iโm not usually one to leave reviews, but Chiangmai Thai has officially taken the title of the best dining experience my partner and I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The staff thoughtfully accommodated my seafood allergy by adjusting the banquet option 1, which made us feel genuinely cared for. The portions were incredibly generous, we had so much food left that they kindly provided us with containers to take home. The restaurantโs aesthetic was beautiful and added to the overall experience and they created a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely outstanding, without question the best thai cuisine Iโve ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and it was the perfect way to end our night. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience, and hats off to the chef, my taste buds will never be the same. It was truly a party for the senses!
The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. We arrived a little late at 8.15pm for dinner and they were able to accommodate us despite closing at 9.30pm. The only negative I have is they were not able to give us plain rice or coconut rice as they said they've run out. I don't understand why they couldn't cook some more. Please invest in a pressure cooker if you've never heard of it before to cook rice quickly.
This place is interestingly located kind of inside the mantra crown towers, which is kind of a lower end hotel in the area. Nice enough, just a bit dated. The decor of the restaurant itself is great though. Very well themed. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was decent. It did come out suspiciously fast, and not super warm, but it still tasted great. The cocktails areโฆpotent! Still, very tasty too.
Amazing Thai food. The curries were creamy and delicious, unlike most other Thai restaurants where the curries are runny like soup. The food presentation was top notch and the staff were really friendly. The inside is well appointed but is starting to show it's age, with trophies from 2006 gathering dust and fading away, and splotchy ceilings. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the city, and clearly a local favourite with lots of diners on a school night.
