Charlong in St Kilda absolutely blew us away. Every dish was packed with bold, beautifully balanced flavours that felt both refined and comforting. The prawn betel leaves were fresh and fragrant, the Wagyu drunken bites were insanely rich and tender, and the lamb shank massaman curry was next-level, deep, warming, and perfectly spiced, with the lamb just falling apart. Add in flaky roti with a rich peanut sauce and it was pure happiness on a plate. This is Thai food done with serious skill and creativity, without losing its soul. Everything tasted thoughtful, generous, and utterly delicious. If you love flavour, Charlong is a must-visit, I’d go back in a heartbeat and recommend it to absolutely everyone.

It doesn’t get much better than this! The food is amazing, so many flavour levels in every bite and every dish! The way the chef has merged the best of Thai flavours with the best ingredients is amazing. Don’t expect your normal Thai where you can order each dish and choose a protein, whole that is delicious too, this is truly a major step up! I love coming here! One not to miss Favourite dishes- Lamb Curry Prawn Dumplings Prawn Beetle Roti Kingfish Crab toast

Our second visit to this restaurant tucked away in St Kilda East and again were super impressed. The food was exceptional with Thai food reinterpreted in a clever, contemporary way. All the dishes dishes we had were just on the next level of flavor, textures and the high quality ingredients. This restaurant is setting the benchmark in Melbourne right now in my opinion, for South East Asian fusion dishes. The staff are attentive and friendly too. Located in a local shop front, this is a an absolute must go if you are a foodie.

Food was 10/10. The brisket melted in the mouth, green curry was excellent and vegetarian spring rolls were out of this world 👏🏼 Service was lovely, we were taken care of by Camila and she was very attentive :) Defo coming back ✨

Starting tonight, this place has become my favorite Thai restaurant. The flavors of each dish, the combination of textures, and the overall taste were truly exceptional. I will definitely be returning and can’t wait to explore the entire menu, amazing cocktails too, and customer service out of 10🤩🤩Thank you so much!!!
