Wow. What a great discovery. Searching for a really hard-to-find food item and I came across Chang Market online. I did an order and within a few minutes I received a phone call. There was a query re my delivery address and rather than simply sending it blindly, a lovely lady, Katherine, discussed options. We got it sorted and it was dropped off within an hour to Aus Post and dispatched. My follow up inquiry was also dealt with professionally and with personal connection. Iโm looking forward to receiving the goods and my first impression has won me as a new customer. They have an amazing range of both standard and rare items so hard to source here in Aus. Well done- u have a new happy customer. ๐.
Chang Grocery is a charming Thai convenience store that offers a wide range of Thai products. From essential groceries to a small selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, it caters to those looking for a taste of home. The store also stocks a variety of traditional Thai desserts, as well as frozen and chilled items that are perfect for every household need. Everything is well-organized and easy to find, making the shopping experience smooth and pleasant. The staff at the counter are friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile. It truly feels like a one-stop shop for anyone seeking authentic Thai ingredients and snacks.
I had an unpleasant experience at this store today. While browsing the cold food section, I saw four cakes with the same bakery logo. Since two of them were actually for sale, I assumed the others were as well. As I was about to ask the cashier for the price, a middle aged male staff member wearing a cap who Iโve seen stocking shelves before rudely pulled the cake from my hand and spoke aggressively to the cashier. I couldnโt catch everything he said, but his tone was unprofessional. If the cakes werenโt for sale, a simple and polite explanation would have been enough. Itโs also confusing to see personal food items mixed in with products for sale. This isnโt the first time Iโve noticed this particular staff member acting this way. While his role may not involve customer service, basic courtesy makes a big difference in the shopping experience. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration to improve customer interactions in the future.
Chips are fantastic, curry paste in a bucket is wonderful idea, entrance inside a back street but very close to station. Off street parking.
Went to Cabramatta this afternoon for some groceries and saw this wonderful Thai grocery market at the very corner next to a parking lot. Missus and I immediately fall in love with this shop ! We love Thai cultural and will take a week to go Thailand every year but due to this pandemic of WuHan virus, all our plans are screw this year. The varieties of item in the shop are so so down to Earth most of the stuff reminds us of the 7-11 in Bangkok. We love to go in each and every 7-11 when we are in Bangkok even across the road. Moreover the price range for this Thai shop is super cheap too. Missus actually went crazy checking out each and every shelves finding the stuff which we can tryout since we canโt go Thailand this year or perhaps next year too judging from this WuHan virus second wave hitting Victoria and HK is starting again too. Great item range and friendly staff too. This will defo be our favourite grocery shop now !
