Really great food with friendly service and meals are served real fast. Also great to find a Thai restaurant open during the day!!

My wife and I love Thai food and Black Basil is our favourite Thai restaurant in the area. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. We’ve eaten in, and also picked up takeaway several times. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order off their menu, but we can highly recommend the chilli basil stir fry, the green curry and the fried rice.

I’ve visited Black Basil Thai Restaurant (Geelong) numerous times, and it never disappoints. The dishes are consistently fresh, packed with flavour, and delicious. Warm and friendly staff, who always greet you with a big smile and make you feel welcome. The restaurant is small but that adds to vibrant atmosphere. This would be my favourite Thai spot in Geelong the food is always beautifully presented. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a relaxed environment.

Thank you for making our friends night happier🥰 The food we had was all beautiful, my friend has been to Thailand before so she knows their food and also she loved it. Bao bao has Crunchy fried prawn cakes in side, so yum, chef recommended Soft Shell Crab Salad (Deep fried soft shell crab with Thai chili dressing) was lovely….. Also the service was great, nice and warm atmosphere, price is very good. So blessed to have such a beautiful local restaurant in Geelong. Highly recommend if you like Thai/Asian cuisine 🇹🇭🍴

Absolutely delicious food and a cosy atmosphere with fantastically amiable staff! Scarfed down the vegan sour and sweet fish (unpictured) have taken many take aways and dine in'd every now and then! Every non-vegan I've taken says they find it really realistic and yum!! Had a great time as I was with amazing company too
