Calm and relaxed atmosphere with good service and excellent food. The caramelised fish was awesome, with a strong flavour and excellent with rice. The vegetarian rice cakes were great with the sauce that comes with them and the eggplant with tofu and vegetables was solidly good, if not showstopping. Will come here again.

I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken, and while the flavor was genuinely delicious, the portion size was quite disappointing for the price of $28.50. There was noticeably more onion than chicken, which threw off the balance of the dish. For the cost, I expected a more generous serving of protein. Overall, tasty but not great value would love to see a better portion ratio in future.

We usually dine on the other side of Marrickville but thought we’d give this place a try. We found the menu and the food to be a little too catered for “foreigners” and not as authentic as we would’ve liked. Service was very good and a very calm atmosphere inside.

We were new to Vietnamese food so had one of the set banquet menus or the “Vapas” (Vietnamese tapas!) as they put it. Our waiter was genuinely thrilled to be helping us on our journey of discovery. The food was simply outstanding- really well balanced and much more delicate than other Asian food we are familiar with. For one course - the “bonfire beef”, because we were new, a waitress came and showed us step by step how to make the rolls from it to our own taste. They really bent over backwards to help us and the bill was, for the quality of good and wine we had, exceptional. Highly recommend this place, great stuff.
