Flavourful and great portion sizes - would recommend if looking for a Thai in Newcastle!

We went to to Bangkok on king with family. As you walk in there’s a “please wait to be seated sign” we waited for about 10 minutes to be seen. The staff were in the kitchen which is visible to the front of house. After no one came over, we sat ourselves down and then got menus ourselves. I had to grab the waiters attention to be able to order our food and drinks. Once the food came out, which was fairly quick there were no issues. The food was nice, a little on the salty side for me. If there was an improvement in service it would have made the overall experience a lot better but unfortunately it was poor service, considering there was only a party of 2 inside, it was disappointing. Food and ambiance was fantastic.

I am Thai and the food at this restaurant has the same taste as what Thai people like.

Cheap and cheerful Thai food. Had a green curry which was flavorful with good ingredients. Man who served me was friendly and service was fast. Good cheaper option for casual dining. Enjoyed my meal and would go back again

Food was freaking nice! Price is really reasonable, every dish has its own unique taste. The squid dish was nice but felt they should add more squid, green curry was great and really enjoyed that, the pork was good in both price and portion. Water is free and refillable.
