Honestly, this is the best restaurant Iโve had since living in Sydney. Iโm not exaggerating and definitely not a paid review. Everything tastes amazing, every single dish. Iโve been here many times and the flavour is always consistent. Same great taste every visit. Highly recommended. โค๏ธโค๏ธ
One of the best Thai food joints in the Surry Hills area. Tasty. Big portion size and price is very reasonable.
Truly authentic Thai Northeastern (Isan) food! The grilled chicken wings were so good I had to order a second plate. The papaya salad had that perfect, bold flavor, and everything else was just full of mouthwatering taste. Highly recommend!
I fell in love with this place for a few reasons but mostly it was the food and the beautiful, friendly trio of Thai women that were running the place when I was there 2 weeks ago. My brother and I wanted to take our mum out for a Thai meal but all the places in Erskineville were full so we jumped in a cab to central to visit my broโs fave new spot. He talked it up. I was sceptical. Id only known this joint to be a dusty workers pub with a big gaming room but its latest incarnation is more than a flashy renovation, itโs a complete transformation! The decor is elegant yet there is nothing pretentious about it. I was able to turn a blind eye to the TAB in the corner because the overall vibe was so laid back, with mood lighting on point, nice tables, open windows for people watching etc. The bar is stocked with excellent whiskey, affordable jugs of beer and service with a smile. I am already fantasising about the next time I get to eat the papaya salad with fried barramundiโฆ I swear that lightly battered barra was not only cooked to perfection but the serving was generous and the sweet, sour and spicy dressing that coated the green papaya was soooo exquisitely authentic tasting.. my lips were burning and my nose was running but I was grinning from ear to ear every bite of the way. More of that. Yes PLEASE!! Iโll be back next weekend on my last night in Sydney for a while.. It was that good.
We tried beef rib penang curry, satay and boat noodle soup- authentic Thai street food vibes. So good will be back!
